Karachi: Frere Hall is one of the well-preserved buildings from the days of the British Raj. It was built (1863) in honor of Sir Henry Bartle Edward Frere (1815-1884), who was known for promoting economic development in Karachi. Around the Hall were two lawns originally known as 'Queen's Lawn' and 'King's Lawn. These were renamed as Bagh-e-Jinnah(Jinnah Garden) after independence.





Is this Grand Canyon or Texas? No. It's Hingol National Park of Baluchistan, Pakistan. It got Mysterious Mud mountains, beautiful blue water Hingol river, desert and deep blue Arabian sea. 3.5 hrs drive from Karachi on Makran coastal highway. By Geo Tau Aisay

Nanga Parbat is the ninth highest mountain on Earth with a summit elevation of 8,126 meters (26,660 ft). Nanga Parbat translates to "Naked Mountain" in English; parbat deriving from the Sanskrit word parvata meaning "mountain, rock", and nanga from the Sanskrit nagna meaning "naked".





Brian O’ Connell To Perform With Salman Ahmad To Celebrate Junoon’s 20th Anniversary. To celebrate this long journey, Salman Ahmad will be reuniting with his high school friend and Junoon’s ex bassist and producer Brian O’ Connell. Brian will be performing with Salman on the 20th anniversary celebration concert at the Asia society on September 24th in New York.





 
The Faisalabad Clock Tower is a clock tower in Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan, and is one of the oldest monuments still standing in its original state from the period of the British Raj.
The locals refer to it as "Ghanta Ghar" in Urdu which translates into Hour House in English. It is located in the older part of the city. The clock is placed at the center of the eight markets that from a bird's-eye view look like the Union Jack flag of the United Kingdom. This special layout still exists today and can be viewed using the latest software from Google Maps.





Dr. Alfred Cooper Woolner (May 1878 - 7 January 1936) was a noted Sanskrit scholar and professor as well as the Vice Chancellor of Punjab University, Lahore before Partition of India.
Punjab University's collection of over 8,500 Ancient Sanskrit and Hindi manuscripts is named in his honour.



Sacred Heart Cathedral, Lahore was consecrated by Bishop Fabian Eestermans, Bishop of Lahore on 19 November 1907.  The design of this Cathedral was made according to the Roman Byzantine style by a Belgian architect, Dr. Dubbeleere of Antwerp.

The Cathedral is the principal church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Lahore. A special commemorative postage stamp was released on the Centenary Day of the Cathedral by the Government of Pakistan.
