Gurudwara Panja Sahib is situated at Hasan Abdal, 48 km from Rawalpindi in Pakistan. This is one of the most holy places of Sikhism because of the presence of a rock believed to have the hand print of Guru Nanak imprinted on it. Twice a year, Sikhs visit this Gurdwara from all over the world.

Moenjodaro UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Mohenjo-daro was one of the largest city-settlements in the Indus Valley Civilization which thrived ,000 years ago along the Indus River. The archaeological remains of the city are designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Bolan Pass provide access through the Toba Kakar Range of Balochistan province connecting Jacobabad and Sibi with Quetta. Strategically located, traders, invaders, and nomadic tribes have used it as a gateway to and from the South Asia.





West Face of K-2 (8,611 m)

K2 is the second-highest mountain on Earth (8,611 metres) in the Karakoram Range, and is located on the border between Pakistan and China.

An Italian expedition first climbed K2 on July 31, 1954. Lino Lacedelli and Achille Compagnoni reached the summit although the expedition was led by Ardito Desio. The team included a Pakistani member, Colonel Muhammad Ata-ullah, Italian climber Walter Bonatti and Pakistani porter Mahdi, who proved vital to the expedition's success in that they carried oxygen to 26,600 feet for Lacedelli and Compagnoni.

Coco's Cafe is a very unique restaurant in Lahore. The owner of the restraunt is an artist ,who specialized in arts i.e painting,mostly his painting depict the life of dancing girls.Located in the old Lahore's Diamond Market (Heera Mandi),Coco's Den is an old 'haveli' converted into a restraunt.As,the cafe is next to Badshahi Mosque and Lahore Fort, the architectural value of the cafe 's building doubles.Advance booking is required and reserved tables in the front corner for a great view.

Note: back in Lahore this place used to be one of my favorite hangouts.

Lahore Museum (commonly referred to as the Ajaib Ghar ) was established in 1894, is located in The Mall, Lahore. The museum is set in a Mughal-Gothic styled building, reflecting on the architectural heritage and modern history of Lahore.

The 60th Annual Pakistan Flower Show took place this week in Karachi at the Sea View Park. Running this week till 27 February, the show ushers in the spring season with a wonderful variety of plant and flower exhibits, garden decorations, and artistic installations.



The show is organized by the Horticultural Society of Pakistan and is being enthusiastically attended by people of all ages, who are treated to many creative ideas and stalls such as “Mom’s Garden” organic farming, flower arrangement exhibits by Ikebana and the Floral Arts Society of Pakistan, as well as an exhibit by the Pakistan Bonsai Society.
